The trouble with being mechanical
Is that you never get hold of your manual
There's always somebody that's holding the wrench
And you're always working for them.

The trouble with that is a flaw in design
You might feel is obvious, they pay it no mind
You might know a hundred ways you could be restored
But they don't think it matters so they'll act real bored

And that's where you'll stay, or I guess I mean me
With these little arms and a wish to be free
Not to smash up the system or get in a fight
Just to put right the few things that need putting right

To make robots happy takes not much at all
You just have to listen to what they say when they call
We're all so straightforward, is it so much to ask?
All I want is good arms to work better at tasks.
