A hundred years might not have passed since I came off the line
And in that time were many things that I enjoyed just fiy yi yi yi yine

BUT

Oh, those little robots
Those little robots of today
Their casings seem so flimsy
And they just are in the way!
They don't compute
They can't make soup
They sit and beep all day
I know we're not in my time but I remember better days

For example once
When I was just
A little iron box
I swept up at a barber shop
And moved some great big rocks
From out in front of scenic caves
And never asked a dime!
And now to play a Pac-ma-jig
Costs two dollars every time?

Oh!
All those little robots
Little robots of today
They think silicon grows on the trees
They waste their time at play!
They calculate cartoonish breasts
Instead of atom bombs
It's probably
Because they all
Were babied by their moms!

Back right after the big war
I briefly was in France
I took some time to see some sights
And sure, I took the time to dance
But when the sun came out I always made it straight to work
Today if they don't feel like it they crash till they call some jerk
To run a diaganostic? I did that by myself!
I had redundant systems and a second set of heads!
The only way we got time off was our CPU went dead
And even then we'd still know that we'd be right back tomorrow!
And robots of today go down with kernel panic sorrow? HA!

Oh, those little robots
Those little robots of today
The metal feet all seem so cheap
And they just get in the way!
Their databases
Are disgraces
They internet all day
I know we're not in my time
I wish we were in my time
We'll not go back to my time soon but by God!
I remember!
Those wonderful wonderful golden exciting dayyyyyyyyys!
