If I could be anything I'd be a train

Or a ladder yes maybe a ladder I'd be

I think that they call it a cellar there

If I could meet anyone I'd meet Saint-Claire Deville

You know he worked hard on Aluminium

There were others all right but not hyphenated

And hyphens are just fascinating to me

Look at how rounded I am look how rounded

I'm more than a vertical steel caterpillar

I keep a collection of shells in a hatbox

Don't judge me, I'm Zerulon, not Wiggles

I once won a poetry contest on Io

I once baked the worst cupcakes anyone could

I once drove a car without any permission

I'm envious of robots who know how to swim

There are so many things that define who I am

I babysat children and taught them croquet

I know over twenty five ways to make toast
