This robot really likes to step on things that are crunchy.

The scientist made me from quality steel

To look like an eagle but that's not how I feel

I have these pretty looking shoulders that they all mistake for wings

I have these heavy curving feet they think are claws

But I prefer the ground

To flying all around

And I really like to step on things that crunch

I never would be happy as an astronobot in space

Or a coffeebot with stunning penthouse views

I would rather be on soil

No matter what the toil

And I really like to step on things that crunch

I could be a diggerbot I don't mind going lower

Or I'd be very happy on a busy subway train

I could be a postalbot and give mankind their letters

But I beg you, please don't put me on a plane

I really wouldn't make it as a trimmer of the trees

I think the second stories are best left to birds and bees

And Heaven help the satellite that needs me for a guide

Unless they drive it from a secret bunker and I am inside

If I could drive the buses I'd be happy as a clam

And working as a streetsweeper would be a piece of cake

I really can't stress that

I have to have life flat

And I really like to step on things that crunch
