Once upon a time there was a little tank named Tera. Tera had four brothers and two sisters. The brothers were named Thomas, Theodore, Tyrone and Tiberius. The sisters were named Theresa and Terri Ann. Theresa was a little tank that laid electrical wires on Mars where humans could not go. Terri Ann was a little tank that worked in a department store. Thomas was a little tank that fought fires. Theodore was a little tank that kept construction sites safe at night. Tyrone was a little tank that ran an ice cream parlor. And Tiberius was a little tank that wanted to paint. "Paint?" Father Tank said in shock. "Paint?" Mother Tank said with concern. "Paint?" said Thomas as he drove over smoldering ashes. "Paint?" said Theodore as he watched the copper thieves run in fear. "Paint?" said Tyrone as he put the last cherry on a sundae. "Paint?" said Theresa on an eight minute delay through the signal relay. "Paint?" said Terri Ann as she moved the dishes from the back room to the front shelves. Tiberius felt very alone. But when he went to Tera, Tera replied "Why not?" "Why not?" Tera told Father Tank while taking some wood for an easel. "Why not?" Tera told Mother Tank while pulling the cat's whiskers to make a brush. "Why not?" Tera told Thomas while scooping up charcoal to draw with. "Why not?" Tera told Theodore while talking with the landlord about renting a space. "Why not?" Tera told Tyrone while stopping in for some ice cream after buying tubes of paint. "Why not?" Tera told Theresa without waiting eight minutes to hear her reply. "Why not?" Tera told Terri Ann while buying a few bowls and some fruit. "Why not?" Tera told Tiberius. "Why not paint?"
