This robot's extra-long arms are not for hugging. Not because it can't hug things. It just doesn't want to.

Tango once had to stop a mummy. It used the extra long arms to hug it until it turned into dust. Everyone was pleased but Tango was programmed to never create any dust so it was horrified that it failed in what it considered to be the primary mission of life. It took many months before Tango could go back into society and although it is now productive and happy it has vowed to never hug again.

Sadly Tango will never meet Clyde, the Model #006 robot that mysteriously vanished from its warehouse job almost a month ago. The two of them would have been perfectly matched.
