ASCIIBotics Labs

Due to the lack of posts at the Labs lately we have had to make some innovations to catch up with the fast pace of modern robotry. Thus, the Mini-Robot-Factory. Using Robot Factory inspired modular robot technology, a mere 1,000 data-bytes can produce an equal number of robots.

There are two versions of the factory, both each 1000 bytes:

• The Quantum Mini-Robot-Factory randomly collapses a single robot into existence out of 1000 possible robots. Keep refreshing the page for a new model until your limited human life attention span finally succumbs to their sheer numbers.
• The Assembly Line Mini-Robot-Factory cranks out all 1000 robots in cold mechanical order.

To initialize the factory, blueprints from ten precursor robots from each of the Ten Great Galactic Nations have been fed into the machine.

The absent-minded creator of this robot made it as a sort of tribute to the memory his lost daughter who disappeared when he was on an extended vacation to Europa. Only later did he realize that he did not actually bring her with him, but left her with his neighbors on Earth. He sold the designs to a Europan colleague and disclaimed all invetorship because he was so embarrassed. He then hurried home at once.
